Q: How did you get into professional photography?

I got into photography this summer actually. Iv always been quite artistic so I have always had that eye. I decided I wanted a big DSLR for my 21st birthday and that’s where addiction began.

Q: What do you enjoy most photographing?

I love the freedom that you can have as an artist. Also people are so critical of themselves so if I can give them photos they enjoy of themselves that’s great.

Q: How have the last 12 months been for you?

Wonderful, I feel I have found what I really want to do with my life. Being able to put 100% into everything you love is just amazing.

Q: Who inspires you?

Anyone that loves to create. I think being artistic and creating beautiful things can be magical.

Q: Which modern day fashion designers or fashion icons do you look up to?

I look up to Jessie J, I think her style and look is very original.

Q: What makes a good photographer in your opinion?

Having a good imagination, I have never really had any Lessons in photography so I believe it isn’t just about learning the technical side, its putting what’s in your head into a piece of artwork.

Q: Do you prefer using film cameras or digital?

Using Digital. This is mainly because I’m a big geek when it comes to photo shop! I think its great the fact you can give photos completely different feels.

Q: Do you prefer to shoot on location or in the studio?

I think both have their uses, but I love location because it has a very certain feel about it often helping the model create that feeling or mood. On the other hand I find the studio interesting in a way the model has to work harder and great things can come out of this.

Q: Do you have any interesting stories about a particular photo shoot you’d like to share?

I was doing some test shots with my flat mate one time in the bath. We ended getting some great shots out of it, but as you can imagine it was rather funny her sitting in the bath trying to look sexy.

Q: Do you have a specific style of photography that makes you unique?

I think I use a very high amount of clarity and color on my photography. The Image I try and get across is very clear

Q: Who is your favourite photographer?

Rankin! His photography is just so beautiful. I love that when he photographers well known people he really captures their personalities.

Q: Is there anybody you would like to work with (either behind or in front of the camera)?

Jessie J definitely, I think with her style the shoot would be nothing but fun.

Q: What does fashion mean to you?

A way to express yourself! However you feel that day!

Q: How would you define your personal style?

I cant really put a label of my style. I’d say it’s however I fell that day! Sometimes I go through pin up moods, next I’m wearing a big woolly jumper with a skirt.
