Q: How did you get into fashion modelling?

I realised I had a potential for modelling when I was at college where I was used for promoting the college within brochures and posters. Being a Performing Arts graduate, makes modelling come quite naturally to me, I then went on to getting portfolios done to help boost my career.

Q: How have the last 12 months been for you?

Great, I have recently got back from Mexico and was involved in commercial work for the BBC and a feature for Channel 4. I have participated in music videos and short films.

Q: Who inspires you?

Within the fashion world, I love how Rihanna was styled on her LOUD tour, I believe Adam Selman helped style her for this, and the style in her LOUD pictures.

Q: Which modern day fashion designers or fashion icons do you look up to?

I like a variety of designs but I do like the designs for Rihanna as they are always unique and changing, bringing something new to fashion and unexpected.

Q: Do you prefer to shoot on location or in the studio?

I am happy either way, it really depends on the shoot itself and the most beneficial outcome.

Q: Do you have any interesting stories about a particular photo shoot, or a casting you’d like to share?

Don’t eat sandwiches with pesto as the green bits get stuck in your teeth! Lol. I went for a casting once where they wanted a Katherine Hepburn look NOT Audrey Hepburn, as you can see I look nothing like Katherine Hepburn. Pay attention to what you are applying for.

Q: How do you prepare for a fashion shoot or show?

I make sure I have a good night’s sleep and soak, make sure hair, nails face etc is up to scratch. Go feeling confident, so what I am wearing has to make me feel good and prepared for it.

Q: Do you have a favourite photograph?

Yes! I like the one with the blue hat which you will see here, but I like to be creative and try new styles. My next style for my portfolio will be lots of colours, a Mediterranean / Caribbean look.

Q: Who is your favourite photographer?

I like Sandrine Dulermo and Michael Labica who worked on Cheryl Coles 2011 calendar and her recent pictures by Rankin. I also like Sarah Monrose who took my pictures.

Q: Is there anybody you would like to work with?

I am open minded to work with anybody that feels they could work with my look within creating new styles to make me stand out.

Q: What does fashion mean to you?

A form of expression of who you are or brand you may like to be seen as.

Q: How would you define your personal style?

My style is to just wear things that compliment my figure/looks and I also go for comfort! I like beige with my skin tone but also colours like bright red and pink etc.

Q: Where are you based?

I am based in London and Kent.

Q: What’s it like being where you’re from?

It is nice to have the busy and energetic life of London as it is always alive, but also nice to have the more peaceful surroundings of Kent.
